The Kerta coat is made of water-repellent, bonded fabric and it has a relaxed, A-line fit. The outer layer of the bonded fabric is made of organic cotton, and the inner layer is of a cotton blend. The coat features the Unikko pattern, a high collar and a detachable, drawstring hood, a two-way metal zipper under the front list, and large flap pockets in the front. The waist can be tightened with drawstrings and the sleeve ends can be tightened with snap buttons. There is a long hem slit in the central back seam.

Our coats are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.

Unikko, symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
